The next release of SurfTrackr is with Apple for review and is all about locations, with some great new features to enhance this part of the app for both free and Pro users.
The update brings a revised location editor that includes the ability to add notes about the location as well as super fast location creation - open the map, move to the right spot and long press until the pin appears to create a location immediately.
Locations can now be shared with other SurfTrackr users simply by viewing the location in the app and clicking the share icon. You can share the location via text message, email, social networks and many other methods — recipients with SurfTrackr on their iPhone can open the link with SurfTrackr to import the location, get driving directions and start recording surf sessions very quickly and easily.
With fast location creation and location sharing, building up a list of surfing locations all over the world is easier than ever.
SurfTrackr is available on the App Store. The new location editor, location sharing and searching will be available in version 2.2 which is coming very soon.
